Store-blindness is a problem in retail where management stops seeing what the customer sees because they are so used to it. Church-blindness is when pastors are so used to what is familiar that they stop seeing things as others do. Because he is a pastor, Miles knows what to look for. Because he is Kingdom-centered, he knows how to look for and assess it.
